Biography
2016 Outdoor: Did not compete.
2015-16 Indoor: Competed in the mile and 5,000m runs for the Retrievers... Set a season best at the Penn State Relays in the mile (4:54.52) and the Great Dane Classic in the 5k (16:01.57).
Background: Ran both cross country and track and field at Mount Hebron High School… Named Unsung Hero for cross country at Mt. Hebron last fall… Earned a fifth place finish at the Howard County Indoor Track and Field Championships in the 3,200m run... Was a member of the honor roll in high school, and won the “Minds in Motion” Award.
Personal: Son of Claudia Denton and Eugene Freund… He has one older sister, Grace… Plans on majoring in mechanical engineering with a career ambition in automotive engineering… Lists favorite movie as American Beauty and likes to binge-watch Netflix when not running.
