Biography
2011-12: Swam season-best times in the 100-yd. fly, 200 fly, 200 IM and 400 IM at the Patriot Invitional... Finished seventh in the 400 IM with a time of 4:07.33... Top dual meet finish was second against both George Washington and Rider in the 200 fly.
2010-2011: Placed 11th in the 400-yard IM (4:05.70), 13th in the 200 event (1:55.65), and 14th in the 200-yard butterfly (1:55.44) at the America East Championships... Swam a season best in the 200 IM finals and 400 IM finals and his best 200 fly in the prelims at the conference meet.
2009-10: Swam season-best times in the 100-yard butterfly (52.66), 200 fly (1:54.65) and 200-yard individual medley (1:57.54) at the Terrapin Cup Last Chance Meet… Placed 16th in the 200 fly at the Patriot Invitational… Highest finish during the dual meet season was second in the 200 fly against Marist.
Background: Became an All-American in 2008 for the 100 fly… A state qualifier in the 100 fly and 200 medly relay in 2008… Qualified for Junior Nationals in the 100 and 200 fly.
Personal: Son of Jose and Yolanda Bado… Has two older sisters, Nicole Acosta and Bosita… Majoring in environmental science and would like to become a marine biologist… Born July 26, 1990.
