2018-19:

• Posted personal bests at the America East Championships in the 100 fly (51.80) and 200 fly (1:56.71).
• Posted a personal best in the 100 back with a time of 55.23 against William and Mary.
• Against Johns Hopkins and Delaware, finished 11th in the 100 free in a time of 50.69.

2017-18: Competed in three events at the America East Championships… In the 200 fly, touched in with a time of 1:57.66… Clocked in with a time of 52.36 in the 100 fly… Also swam in the 50 free, reaching the wall in a time of 22.27.

2016-17:  Competed in the 200 fly at the CCSA Championships with a time of 1:56.95, a 4.8% improvement since his last 200 fly at the George Mason Invitational where he was timed at 2:02.36... also placed first in the 100 free with a time of 48.11… Earned second place in the 100 fly in 51.90... Finished the 50 free with a time of 22.31.

2015-16: Finished his first season as a Retriever swimming season-best times at the CCSA Championships... Touched in with a time of 1:59.47 in the 200 fly, while finishing the 100 fly in a time of 52.21... Also competed in the 100 and 50 free at the championships, finishing with times of 47.62 and 22.04 respectively... CCSA All-Academic Team.

Background: Member of Cheshire Sea Dog Swim Club and Cougar Aquatic Team… Placed fifth at YMCA Nationals last season… Named to The New Haven Register’s All Area Swim Team in 2014… Has seven Allstate Honors; 200 Freestyle and 200 Freestyle relay in 2015, 100 butterfly and 200 freestyle in 2014, 100 butterfly and 200 freestyle relay in 2013, and 100 butterfly... Broke Haddam Killingworth High School’s 200 freestyle record in 2014… Shoreline Scholar Athlete Award from 2013-2015.

Personal: Son of Kristin and William Mazziotti… Has two siblings, Daria and Kyle… Lists favorite movie as Fast and Furious 7 and favorite pro teams as the New England Patriots and New York Yankees… Plans on majoring in mechanical engineering.
