Biography

2010-11: Placed 15th in the 100-yard butterfly and 16th in the 50- and 200-yard freestyle at the Patriot Invitational… Set career-best times in the 50 free (21.41), 100 free (46.41) and 100 fly (51.04) at the Terrapin Invite… Highest finish during the dual meet season was third in the 100 free against Navy.

2009-10: Set career-best times in the 100-yard freestyle (46.90) and 100-yard butterfly (51.68) and a season-best time in the 50 free (21.73) at the Terrapin Cup Last Chance Meet. Highest finish was fourth, which he achieved three times during the dual meet season.

 

2008-09: Finished seventh in the 200-yard freestyle at the Patriot Invitaional… Placed third in the 100-free against Marist… Set season-best times in the 50 free (21.42), 100 free (47.65) and 200 free (1:43.29) at the America East Championships.

 

Background: Finished first at National Catholic Championships in the 50 free and 200 medley relay… Finished second in 100 fly at the 2008 National Catholic Championships… Helped Loyola Blakefield to its 15th consecutive MIAA championship… Also lettered in water polo and was team captain his senior year.

 

Personal: Son of Debbie and Roy Danz… Majoring in engineering… Born May 10, 1990.
