Biography

2014-15: Competed as an exhibition swimmer for the Retrievers as a freshman, primarily in freestyle events... Swam a 22.15 in the 50 free at the CCSA Championships, one of three events the rookie took part in.. Knocked three seconds off his previous best time in the 200 free, going 1:46.56 in Georgia... Finished the exhibition of the 100 free with a time of 48.31.

Background: Set the school and pool record in the 400 and 200 free relay his junior year… Was a qualifier for the Connecticut State Opens in the 50 free.

Personal: Son of Donald and Lisa MacAskill… Has two sisters, Cara and Erin… Plans on majoring in Chemical Engineering… Born Sept. 21, 1996.
