Biography

2021: Did not compete.

2019: Competed in four meets for the Retrievers in 2019... Scored in the Mount 5k Duals with a time of 17:45.84.

2018: Competed in two races during the year… Ran an 18:45.92 at the Mount 5k Duals and a 17:56.78 at the Navy Invite. 

Background: Earned coaches’ selection as Most Valuable Athlete in cross country in the fall of 2017 and Most Improved track athlete in the spring of 2016… Finished fifth of 82 runners at the 2017 Scorpion Crawl in a personal best time of 17:14.40 for the 5,000 meters… Part of the Vikings’ 4 x 800 relay team that placed third in the 3A state championships… A member of The National Honor Society, the National Math Honor Society and Rho Kappa (Social Studies) Honor Society… A National Merit Scholar semi-finalist… Considering a major in computer science… Lists favorite movie (definitively) as Interstellar… Has a twin brother, Mark… Son of Vicki Schlining.
