2015: Ran in just two races his freshman campaign... Kicked off the year with a time of 17:03 at the Mount 5K Duals... Competed at the Gettysburg Invitational, where he finished the 8k course in a time of 28:14.

Background: Ran both cross country and track and field at Mount Hebron High School… Named Unsung Hero for cross country at Mt. Hebron last fall… Earned a fifth place finish at the Howard County Indoor Track and Field Championships in the 3,200m run... Was a member of the honor roll in high school, and won the “Minds in Motion” Award.

Personal: Son of Claudia Denton and Eugene Freund… He has one older sister, Grace… Plans on majoring in mechanical engineering with a career ambition in automotive engineering… Lists favorite movie as American Beauty and likes to binge-watch Netflix when not running.
