Softball Announces Newest Signing Class

The UMBC Softball team has signed four future Retrievers on Wednesday, head coach Chris Kuhlmeyer has announced.

Abbie Frisvold, Jayda Koontz, Elena Clark-Wilson, and Brittany Howe will join the program in the fall of 2025.

"I couldn't be more excited to welcome Abbie, Jayda, Elena, Brittany and their families to the UMBC Softball family," said Kuhlmeyer. "This class brings everything we needed to fill in this class: left handed pitching, depth at catcher, depth in the infield and outfield, and a good mix of power and athleticism at the plate.  I look forward to having them in the black and gold starting next fall and helping our program continue our high expectation of competing for America East Championships year in and year out!"
