Trio of Retrievers Compete on Day One of NCAA Preliminaries

RESULTS 

Lexington, Ky.—A trio of Retrievers competed on day one of the NCAA East Preliminaries in Kentucky on Thursday. Abigale Slonski, Alexios Prodanas and Jamal Cody were in action. 

Cody had the best finish of any Retriever, taking 23rd in the 400m hurdles first round in a time of 52.75 to qualify for tomorrow's quarterfinals.

Slonski took home 46th in the javelin with a toss of 38.10m (125'), while Alexios Prodanas rounded out the field in the hammer throw with a toss of 57.13m (187'5"), good for 45th.

Two Retrievers will be in action tomorrow, as Sophia Cologer will compete in the 3,000m steeplechase and Jamal Cody will take to the track in the 400m hurdle quarterfinals.
