CAMBRIDGE, Mass. – UMBC track and field seniors Deborah Adelola and Kirsten McGovern, as well as junior Eric Schuler, have been named to the 2014 America East Outdoor Track and Field All-Academic Team, the conference office announced on Tuesday morning.

The three-day meet at Franklin Field will begin on Thursday, April 24 and run through Saturday evening in the City of Brotherly Love.
BALTIMORE – Senior Shioma Obemeata set a personal-best and met the IC4A qualifying standard to win the triple jump competition as the UMBC track and field team wrapped up its weekend of competition at the Morgan State Legacy Meet, Saturday at Hughes Stadium.
BALTIMORE – The bulk of the UMBC track and field team will stay close to home this weekend as the Retrievers make a short trip across Baltimore for the two-day Morgan State Legacy Meet at Hughes Stadium. The meet at George Mason Stadium is scheduled to begin on Saturday morning at 10:00 a.m. with the women’s hammer throw.

BALTIMORE – After hosting a rain-shortened Big Dawg Invitational last weekend at UMBC Stadium, the Retriever track and field program heads south on I-95 to compete at the Pepsi Florida Relays in Gainesville, Fla. and the Colonial Relays in Williamsburg, Va. Both meets will run from Friday, April 4 through the evening of Saturday, April 5.
