2014 Outdoor: Placed tenth in the 100m dash and 14th in the 200m dash at the 2014 America East Outdoor Track and Field Championships… Helped the 4x100m relay team win a silver medal and break the school record with a time of 46.19 at the conference meet at Vermont… Recorded a season-best 100m time of 12.56 at the America East meet… Posted her top 200m time of 25.95 at the Mason Spring Invitational.

2013-14 Indoor: Advanced to the finals of the 60m dash and the 400m run at the 2014 America East Indoor Track and Field Championships… Posted a career-best 60m dash time of 7.80 in the event prelims to advance to the finals and jump to seventh in school history… Finished ninth in the finals… Advanced in the 400m event with a career-best time of 57.23, the seventh-fastest in program history, and then placed eighth in the finals… Also competed in the 200m event at the conference meet… Named the America East Female Track Athlete of the Week on Feb. 11.

Background: Named to the All-Metro First Team on three occasions… 2013 Maryland State 4A Champion in the 55m dash… Also, helped lead North Point High to the state title in the 4x400 relay… Named the Charles County Athlete of the Year in 2011 and 2012… Two-time Southern Maryland Athletic Conference (SMAC) Most Outstanding Runner.

Personal: Daughter of Rashuna Tillman-Akins and Marcus Akins… Her uncle, Travares Tillman, played football at Georgia Tech before going on to play in the NFL for the Buffalo Bills, Carolina Panthers, and Miami Dolphins… Plans to major in biological sciences… Born Aug. 18, 1995.
