CAMBRIDGE, Mass.—Seniors Michael Christmas (Invercargill, New Zealand/James Hargest College) and Sara Parkinson (Lancashire, England/Loughborough University) have been named to the 2010 America East Cross Country All-Academic Teams, as announced by the conference Friday.

Results From the Third Annual 5K Dawg Chase
BALTIMORE—Lance Byrd won the third annual 5K Dawg Chase on Saturday, Oct. 16, in a time of 18:12.72. Katie Gessler was the first female to cross the finish line in a time of 21:56.45.

BETHLEHEM, Pa.—The UMBC men’s and women’s cross country teams took part in the Paul Short Run Friday morning and both finished 35th in the team standings.

Men's Cross Country Finishes 5th at Navy Invitational, Women Place 7th at Salty Dog Invite
ANNAPOLIS, Md.—Senior Sara Parkinson (Lancashire, England/Loughborough University) finished fourth overall as the UMBC women’s cross country team finished seventh at the Salty Dog Invitational, while the men placed fifth in the Navy Invitational Saturday.

Boimov Finishes Second as Mount St. Mary's 5K Duals as Cross Country Opens 2010 Season
EMMITSBURG, Md.—Senior Sara Parkinson (Lancashire, England/Loughborough University) won the women’s race, while junior Sam Boimov finished second in the men’s race as the UMBC men’s and women’s cross country teams opened their 2010 seasons at the Mount St. Mary’s 5K Duals Friday.
