Kiki Malamo-Paris rejoins the Retrievers’ track and field program as a volunteer assistant coach for the 2013-14 season after competing for UMBC from 2008-2012. She will help coach the jumps.
During her time as a student-athlete, Malamo-Paris competed in the jumps and sprints. She set the program record in the indoor long jump at the 2010 Rider/Lafayette Winter Games with a leap of 5.65m (18’6.5”). She also holds the top spot in the UMBC record book for the outdoor long jump with her leap of 5.75m (18’10.25”).
The Bangor, Northern Ireland native graduated from UMBC in 2012 with a degree in psychology and is currently working on her Master’s degree in public policy.
