May 28, 2014BALTIMORE – A quartet of UMBC track and field athletes head back to the Sunshine State this weekend to represent the Retrievers at the 2014 NCAA East Preliminaries at the University of North Florida in Jacksonville. The meet, which will be held at UNF’s Hodges Stadium, will begin on Thursday, May 29 with the javelin competition, and run through Saturday evening. -

April 17, 2014BALTIMORE – The bulk of the UMBC track and field team will stay close to home this weekend as the Retrievers make a short trip across Baltimore for the two-day Morgan State Legacy Meet at Hughes Stadium. The meet will begin on Friday afternoon with the javelin and hammer throw competitions before resuming on Saturday morning with the track events. In addition, members of the Retriever distance team will make their way up to Princeton for the Larry Ellis Invitational. -
