2013 Outdoor: Won the 800m run at the 2013 America East Outdoor Championships… Recorded his career-best time of 1:51.24 during his gold medal run to earn an invitation to the IC4A Championships… The time also ranks second in the UMBC record book… Had finished second in the event prelims… Also competed in the 1,500m run during the season at the Florida State Relays and the Big Dawg Invitational at UMBC Stadium.

2012-13 Indoor: Helped lead UMBC to a gold medal in the 4x800m relay at the 2013 America East Indoor Championships… Won a silver medal in the 1,000m run at the conference championships… Was also a part of the distance medley relay team which claimed a bronze at the America East meet… Qualified for the IC4A meet in the 1,000m run and placed eighth at the regional meet with a personal-best time of 2:26.77… His time ranks as the fourth-fastest in school history.

Background: Named to the All-County Team during his sophomore, junior and senior seasons... Listed on the All-League Team in each of his four seasons competing for the Royals... Led Port Jefferson to the Small School County Championship at the 2011-12 winter track and field championships... Memeber of the Nation Honor Society.

Personal: Son of Roger and Patricia Keresztes... Has one sister, Alexandra, and two brothers, Eric and Matthew... Plans to major in chemical engineering... Born Nov. 11, 1994.
