Kadeem Dacres Signs With Expansion Arizona United SC in USL PRO League

Peoria, Ariz. – Former UMBC soccer standout Kadeem Dacres (Rosedale, N.Y./Mercer County CC) has signed a professional contract with the expansion Arizona United SC, of the USL PRO league.

"I'm very happy, it's an exciting time," Dacres said. "I'm looking forward to helping the team bring winning ways over here."

Arizona United SC will make its inaugural USL PRO debut at home on Saturday, April 12th against the expansion Oklahoma City Energy at 7:00 p.m. at the Peoria Sports Complex. Former Retriever Pete Caringi III will oppose his former teammate in OKC's third contest.

Dacres excelled in his two-year tenure at UMBC, which culminated as he was tabbed America East Midfielder of the Year in 2013. The left-side midfielder, shined throughout the campaign and finished third in the conference in scoring with 16 points (6 goals, 4 assists). The two-year letterwinner was a unanimous selection for America East Midfield of the Year and First Team All-Conference honors.   

The New York native earned Third Team NSCAA All-America honors.
