2012: Produced a very solid freshman campaign, competing in 21 of 22 games and earning four starts as a wide midfielder… Started the opener vs. Radford and at Mount St. Mary’s… Scored a pair of goals in 23 minutes of playing time (and two shots) vs. Boston U. on Oct. 13… Besides Pete Caringi III, was the lone player to score multiple goals for the Retrievers in a 2012 contest… Registered the game’s first score in the 36’ to give UMBC a 1-0 lead at halftime, then capped the scoring with a goal in the 74’… Played a season-best 66 minutes three days later in the 2-1 victory at Navy… Recorded two shots in America East championship contest and started both NCAA Tournament games.   

 

Background: Majoring in sociology… Earned All-Metro honors in 2010 from The Washington Post after a stellar career at the Calverton School… Captained his side for three seasons and also earned All-Maryland Independent Schools Athletic League and All-County selections by The Calvert Recorder…The former student government president was a two-time Region 1 team selection and three-year Maryland ODP member… At the club level, he competed for D.C.
