Louisignau Among Nominees for America East Men’s Soccer Fans’ Choice Player of the Year

CAMBRIDGE, Mass.—UMBC senior goalkeeper Dan Louisignau (Wilmington, Del./Concord/Virginia) is among eight players nominated for the 2011 America East Men's Soccer Fans' Choice Player of the Year. Click here to vote now!

Louisignau leads the America East in save percentage (.830), saves per game (4.87) and shutouts (7), and he ranks third in goals-against average (1.00). A second-team all-conference honoree in 2010, he played 2,600 consecutive minutes over the last two seasons and has recorded 12 shutouts in 28 starts at UMBC. In addition, he was recently named to the College Soccer News National Team of the Week after recording four straight clean sheets. 

Voting for America East Fans' Choice Player of the Year will take place on the America East Facebook page and will run until 12 p.m. on Tuesday, Nov. 1.
