UMBC senior goalkeeper Dan Louisignau (Wilmington, Del./Concord) was named to College Soccer News' National Team of the Week for matches ending Oct. 16, 2011.
Louisignau posted shutouts in both contests this week and now has four shutouts in a row and seven on the campaign. The Retrievers are ranked 11th nationally in shutout percentage. He has not allowed a goal in 408 minutes and lowered his goals against average to 0.82.
Louisignau has been in the nets for all 1,198 minutes this season. He has a .849 save percentage, good for 14th in the nation and is 19th in total saves with 62.
The America East Second Team honoree in 2010 has authored 12 shutouts in his 26 UMBC starts over two seasons.
