2017: Tied for the team lead with 18 goals and finished second in total points with 24… Led the Retrievers with 89 shots attempted and 37 shots on goal… Got off to a quiet start, scoring just four points in the first six games, but broke out with a career-high five-goal, two-assist effort in UMBC’s America East opening win at Stony Brook on March 18… Scored twice in the first quarter, and after SBU rallied to tie the game at 7-all early in the fourth, he tallied three times in the final 13 minutes of play to spearhead the UMBC victory… The five-goal effort was the Retrievers’ best of the campaign and earned him America East Men’s Lacrosse Player of the Week honors… Recorded his second and third hat-tricks of the season/his career in back-to-back weeks versus Binghamton (April 15) and at Hartford (April 22)… Attempted a team season-high 15 shots against the Bearcats… Posted at least a point in final nine games of the season… Finished the year tied for fourth in America East with 2.50 goals scored in the six league affairs and led the circuit in shots per game with 10.2 in league play.
2016: Started 13 of 14 games in his initial collegiate campaign… Attempted a season-high five shots and scored his first collegiate goal on a man-up situation in the opener versus Richmond… Followed up with season-best three-point effort (2g, 1a) at Ohio State… Amassed season-best three ground balls in game No. 3 versus Towson… Recorded another multiple-point game with a goal and a helper versus Marist… Put 75 percent of his 24 shots on cage.
Background: Recorded 75 goals and 57 assists for his career as a two-way midfielder and four-year varsity starter at Arundel,.. Selected First Team All-Anne Arundel County by The Capital Gazette after his junior year and earned a Baltimore Sun Top 44 selection… Voted as a football team captain as a senior and earned Second Team All-Anne Arundel County, Capital Gazette and Baltimore Sun honors… In the spring, also selected as a team captain, and earned First Team All-Anne Arundel County, Capital Gazette and Baltimore Sun accolades on the lacrosse field… Tabbed as an USCLA All-American… Voted by area coaches as both a MSLCA All-Star selection, a Bilderback All-Star selection, as well as a C.
