Baltimore, Md.—Registration for UMBC summer baseball camps are now open, and begin at the end of June.
The first week of the camp begins on June 27 and runs through July 1 and will help kids learn the basic fundamentals of baseball during a full day of instruction. There will then be a two day pitching camp (July 4-5) that will help those who want to be pitchers focus on the proper mechanics and tools to succeed on the mound. The two day hitting camp will take place from July 6-7 that will focus just on hitting techniques. The following week will be the second week of the day camp that features instruction on all facets of the game. The final week will be a night camp that runs from 5:30 p.m. to 9:30 p.m. under the lights of Alumni Field.
For those who want to register for any of the camps, or have more questions, they can contact UMBC head coach Bob Mumma (firstname.lastname@example.org) or assistant coach Liam Bowen (email@example.com) as well as going to the camp website www.collegebaseballcamps.com/umbc/
