    Ten Retrievers to Represent UMBC in Summer Ball Leagues BALTIMORE – Ten Retriever baseball players will represent UMBC this summer in summer ball leagues. Three athletes will compete in the Cal Ripken Collegiate Baseball League (CRL), with two others playing locally in the Maryland Collegiate Baseball League (MCBL). The other five are split among clubs in the Coastal Plans League (CPL), Hamptons Collegiate Baseball League (HCL), and Valley Baseball League (VBL).

The Retrievers and Black Bears are set to play a doubleheader beginning at 4:00 p.m. on Friday at Mahaney Diamond, before closing the regular season with a single game on Saturday.
