Brian Amenta originally was hired as the graduate intern strength and conditioning coach in the fall of 2011 and was promoted to Assistant Director of Strength and Conditioning in the summer of 2014. Previous to being hired on a full time basis, Amenta was employed by Elevation Corporate Health from 2008 to 2014 and held the title of Assistant Director of the Cooley Center at Johns Hopkins Hospital.
Amenta, a Baltimore native, graduated from McDaniel College in 2008 with a B.A. in Exercise Science and Physical Education. While at McDaniel, he competed in football and was a part of a conference championship team in 2004 and led the squad in receiving his senior season.
Amenta is a Certified Strength and Conditioning Specialist (CSCS) through the NSCA and is currently working towards a Master’s Degree in Kinesiology from A.T. Still University.
