Kevin Burdick joins the recreation and physical education staff as the Supervisor of Fitness & Wellness. Kevin started working at UMBC during the summer of 2013 where he was the Activities Coordinator for UMBC’s Summer Day Camp.
Burdick’s duties include assisting the director with day-to-day supervision and administration of the fitness center. In addition to supervising and coordinating group exercise classes, health promotion activities, supervise group exercise instructors and personal trainers.
Before arriving to UMBC, Burdick was the aquatics and fitness attendant at The College at Brockport where he graduated in May 2011 with a degree in physical education. Burdick also earned a teaching certificate from Brockport, a New York State Health Education Certification, and a Master’s of Science in education and athletic administration.
Burdick was also the assistant coach for the women’s volleyball team at Brockport from 2009-13 and served as a student assistant for the women’s basketball team.
