The pre-season basketball magazines are starting to hit the newsstands and UMBC, the defending champs, are being selected to finish between third and fifth place. Do you agree or disagree with these rankings?
Agree...given the strengths of some of the other squads and UMBC's losses, this is right where the Retrievers will finish.
Disagree...UMBC has two First Team All Conference players returning and an underrated supporting cast, so the dawgs will occupy one of the top two slots at season's end.
Disagree...the loss of scoring punch will send UMBC to the lower half of the America East standings.
