Nov. 11 - Nov. 17, 2013

Midfielder Pete Caringi scored two goals, and added an assist, in the championship game and was named the 2013 America East Tournament Most Outstanding Player as the Retrievers won the conference title for the second straight season. The Perry Hall, Md. native opened the scoring in the tenth minute, nodding a cross from Jordan Becker into the net. Then, in the second half, the senior captain got on the end of a Malcolm Harris service to put UMBC up 3-0 as the Retrievers went on to finish off Hartford, 4-0, and capture the championship.
